Come expand your knowledge painting with professional visual artist, Eric McRay! Learn the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist concepts of Cezanne, Monet, and Van Gogh. Learn how to capture sunlight, create deep shadows, and luminous color. Create paintings using a limited palette, complimentary colors, and thick application of paint. Our goal is to charge into expression, unleash one’s self, and get carried away into painting!
Acrylic supplies:
Prostroke Powercryl Explorer Set of 5 (contains a #1 round, #4 and #6 brights, #8 flat and a #12 filbert)
A variety of your favorite colors in SoHo or Matisse Acrylics
A palette
Canvas no smaller than 24x30, but no larger than 30x40
Oil Supplies:
Prostroke Bristle Explorer Set of 5 (contains a #1 round, #4 and #6 brights, #8 flat and a #12 filbert)
A variety of your favorite colors in SoHo or Lukas 1862 or Lukas Studio oils
A palette
Canvas no smaller than 24x30, but no larger than 30x40
Brush cleaner - For everyone's health and well being, Jerry's allows only low odor solvents like Turpenoid, Gamsol and odorless mineral spirits to be used in the classroom.
