"In Memorial of the Lives Lost on September 11th"

"When the Saints Go Marching In"
acrylic on canvas 48x60

"When the Saints Go Marching In" was a large scale jazz piece created in honor of the souls lost on 911. When many artists chose to focus on carnage. In memorial of the lives lost on September 11th, I chose to instead view it like a New Orleans funeral where raucous music and cathartic dancing celebrate the lives of the deceased.

"McRay on the American Tobacco Campus"

"The White Rose" collage painting 5x14

"American Music" collage painting 10x8

"The Brick House" collage painting 5x11

Last night at the American Tobacco was wonderful. It was one of my most glamorous and elegant art openings. Three of my collage were purchased and added to their corporate art collection. The above pieces will be added to the current large collection of Jazz themed McRay paintings on the American Tobacco Campus.

"They are Hung Primarily in Kitchens, Dining Rooms, Breakfast Nooks, and Over Computer Desks"

Today Bob picked up his painting, "Chocolate & Chocolate". For all those who think these "Aroma" paintings are hung only in coffee shops. Believe or not, they are hung primarily in kitchens, dining rooms, breakfast nooks, and over computer desks.
