"86 it Anti-Litter Movement"

Artspace is proud to be a co-sponsor of Wake County’s 86it Anti-Litter Movement.  Artspace artists are joining other area artists to turn ordinary trash receptacles into works of art!  Congratulations and Thank you for your participation – Mathew Curran, David Eichenberger, Paul Friedrich, Andre Leon Gray, Eric McRay, Keith Norval, Casey Porn, Pete Sack, and Garrett Scales.  Part of Artspace’s sponsorship is coordinating the “Respect the Can-Vas” Contest through which one high school student will be selected to paint an additional trash can to be included in the above elite group of artists. Be looking for announcements on how to vote on Facebook for your favorite of the high school design submissions. All finished cans will be displayed at Artsplosure May 21-22, and then moved to the RBC Center!  Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice!
